

We want YOU to help US make this
parade the BIGGEST & BEST ever!
Businesses, schools, churches,
special interest groups, clubs, sport teams, individuals ~
please consider this your
invitation to enter a float in our parade.
We also invite you to enter
decorated bikes, strollers, costumed characters, sport teams in uniform, bands,
etc.
This is an excellent opportunity
to advertise a business, promote an activity, support a cause, honour your
community, or just have some fun.
The parade is always VERY WELL
ATTENDED and we would like everyone to have lots of OOHS & AAHS!

The theme for the parade is
‘Pirates & Princesses’.
It would be great if you could
creatively incorporate this into your entry.
Prizes will be awarded to the
BEST OVERALL ENTRY ($100), BEST
THEMED ENTRY ($50),
MOST HOMOROUS ENTRY ($50), and
MOST ORIGINAL ENTRY ($50)
Please register your entry by
calling the Recreation Department (882-2476) or Janet Hackett (882-2143). We hope to have a committee member contact
you soon to answer any question/concerns you may have.

We ask that there not be any
candy, gum, etc. from the floats
but you can walk beside your float
passing out treats (safety issue)

There is to be no soliciting
(fundraising activities) as part of the parade or along the route

The parade begins at 1pm, please
be at the Liquor Store by 12:15pm

There is a new route this
year. The parade will begin at the
Liquor Store, turn left onto to Church St. and will travel straight through the
Community to Judy’s Take Out
