This project, initiated in 1996:
- features food products in cooking demonstrations by a home economist or chef
- allows fairgoers to taste and touch products
- provides a venue to introduce new and reformulated products to the public
- promotes brand recognition by displaying packaging
- features product information about ingredients or materials, availability, suggested use, approximate cost
- may collect feedback about products
