Poultry Show The Poultry Show is a regular feature of the Eastern Kings Exhibition. It annually attracts exhibitors from across the Province, who show a wide variety of chickens, ducks, geese, and pigeons.
The show is housed in two buildings. The majority of the birds are accommodated in the main poultry barn with the overflow of entries to be found in the building next door. Exhibitors compete for an array of prizes and trophies. The "Grand Champion of the Show" winner receives the Ira Burke Memorial
Trophy, named in honor of a local poultry exhibitor who showed for many
years at the Souris show.
